Editorial Policy

Our aim is to help readers understand a product and its limitations before making a purchase.

Research and hands-on testing

Our current buying guides are based on research. They identify manufacturer information and separate it from editorial analysis. We do not claim to have handled or tested a product when we have not.

A future hands-on review should describe the product version, test conditions, relevant measurements and supporting evidence. Research-based guides should not be interpreted as laboratory comparisons.

Sources and product claims

We prefer manufacturer documentation for specifications and compatibility. Published runtime, battery and capacity figures are attributed claims with conditions, not our own measurements. We link sources so readers can check details.

Our analysis considers intended use, limitations, compatibility, maintenance, ownership costs and seller terms. We avoid numerical scores without a documented method.

Images

Some editorial images are AI-generated illustrations and are identified as such. They are not photographs of products we tested or evidence of real-world results. A product’s appearance and included accessories should be checked with its manufacturer or seller.

Affiliate links and commercial relationships

Paid links are labelled near purchase options. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. Informational links to a manufacturer do not by themselves indicate a commercial partnership.

See our affiliate disclosure for more information.

Updates and corrections

A reviewed date identifies an editorial revision; it does not mean we repeated a hands-on test. Prices, availability, firmware and seller terms can change after publication.

To request a correction, contact us with the article URL, the statement and supporting information. We assess the report and correct material errors when confirmed.
